What we collect

  • Account: email, name (if provided), email-code verification, and sign-in sessions. Dedicated reviewer accounts also store a password hash; we do not store their passwords in plain text.
  • Agent connections: OAuth authorizations and access or refresh-token records for clients you authorize. We process tool inputs, including company searches and news filters, to answer your requests. Filters you save become part of your saved view.
  • Usage: saved views, watchlists, delivery preferences, usage counters, and email delivery logs.
  • Operational logs: IP address, user agent, request paths — used for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

  • Authentication and rate limiting.
  • Sending email digests for the feeds you create.
  • Answering requests from the website and authorized MCP / agent clients.
  • Operating the service. We do not sell your data.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and edge services) and Resend (sign-in codes, test emails, alerts, and digests).
  • MCP / agent clients you authorize can access news and act on your saved views and watchlists within the permissions shown during connection.

Your controls

  • Delete saved views and watchlists, turn off email delivery, or use the unsubscribe link in an email.
  • Disconnect authorized agents from Account settings.
  • Email hello@regnewswire.com to request account deletion. After verifying your identity, we delete your account and associated application data within 30 days of your request.

Retention

We keep your account, saved views, watchlists and delivery preferences until you delete them or request account deletion. We remove application delivery, usage and security history on a scheduled basis after 90 days, and may remove it sooner. Active sign-in credentials and agent authorizations remain while they are needed to provide access; expired records are removed sooner.

Deletion ends access and removes your application settings, credentials and history. We also handle removal requests with our service providers. Legally required payment records and provider backup copies may remain under their retention schedules. Provider operational logs follow the providers' own retention schedules.

Payments

If you subscribe, Stripe processes payment information and manages recurring billing. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status. We do not store your full card details. Complimentary and free access do not require payment information.
